Reasons to Join....

When you join and/or invite someone you know to join the Marine Corps League and the Marine Corps League Auxiliary, you do more than increase our ability to help America's Veterans and their families; you could be helping that new member live a longer, more fulfilling life.

In recent years, U.S. populations have become more solitary, and more than a quarter of U.S. households are made up of people living by themselves. Sadly research has found that 25 percent of Americans said they had no one to talk to about important matters and social isolation may increase a person’s risk of early death.

The good news is that every Marine Corps League and Auxiliary member has the opportunity to help ebb the loneliness epidemic! Most of our members take time to visit those veterans at VA Hospitals and Veterans homes. Our Veterans will feel loved and appreciated when our members visit them and feel useful and connected.

Your involvement is vital to the success of each one of our Detachments, Units, Departments and our Organization. It takes each and every one of us pulling together to get the important work done of serving our Veterans and their families, our communities, and our country. Join Us today, you can make a difference.
